thinking about swapping mine ('09 XP) out for one with 5000 miles, is it a direct swap? The gearing it just too tall for off-slab riding in my opinion. | ||

I have 9 gearing in my XB12 Lightning, Direct swap. you need the front (engine) sprocket and the chain, the clutch basket is the same between the 9 and the 12. I did mine at like 20k miles so I put a new tensioner in there while it was open but I really didnt need to. Real easy, did it in a weekend. Makes a world of diferance for low idle and makes 1st and 2nd gear wheelies even easyier. | ||

Wolf is correct. Check it out on American Sport Bike. The kits are different for 08-10 than 06-07. | ||
