Headed out this morning and after a few minutes realized my front brake lever was pulling itself in about half way. Never had that happen before. I could use my fingertips and push it back out, but it would pull back in. No evidence that it was applying brake to the wheel: still seemed to be rolling unimpeded, still slowed the bike when I squeezed it - in fact worked fine when a pair of turkeys ran across the road in front of the minivan ahead of me and I had to give it quick squeeze. Got to my destination, I looked at the gauge on the cylinder - it wasn't obvious to me if it was full beyond the gauge or all the way below it. No evidence of leakage, either. So I opened it up and it was still full, but the diaphragm was partly sucked down. Reset the diaphragm and all seemed right with the world again. Not sure what to make of that. Any insight? Concerns? Suggestions?

I wondered if it was temperature related, but I'd never had it happen before. Temp at departure; mid 40's. Had temps as low as mid 20's recently.

No idea...

When's the last time you replaced pads? Could be 'full' of fluid, but more of it down in the pistons if the pads are low...

I haven't replaced them myself and don't remember if they done on a scheduled maint. at the dealer. Worth checking. Thanks.
