Hello Ulyers,

I'm about to change the oil on my 06 uly, with out counting the oil filter ( installed and filled with oil)how much oil do i have to put, i'd prefer in liters because i'm in Spain (metric measures) but if it's in quarts, i think there is 0,94 liters to the quart.

A total of 2.36 liters. Make sure you put some of that 2.36 liters in the new filter before installing. I will fill the new filter with the oil until no more is absorbed, then install. Add the rest of the oil to the swingarm.

Pontlee that may be too much. Measure out your 2.36, pour enough into the filter to half fill it, then put the rest in your swingarm. Take note of the cold level on the stick, on my '06 the cold 2.5 (qts) fill only reaches halfway between the tip and the "add" mark.

Once warmed up it reaches to the 2XX marks, where it should be.

Conversions can be tricky - let's not forget:

1 Imperial gallon = 1.20095042 US gallons

Then there's Imperial Ounces.

I'm not real sure about Imperial Quarts, though.

Don't even get me started on 'how many hectares in an acre'?

.

1 hectare equals about 2.5 acres.

I had to learn because I got tired of being told how big a ranch I was on in Mexico or Colombia was and not really knowing the conversion.
