Well, my Buell "delux" bag has given up the ghost. Despite paying good money to have the zipper sewn in again, it's falling apart - time for a new bag. Fitting seems to be an issue for our bikes; and I don't want to hot glue any magnets to the tank. I've read through some of the older posts but thought to give a shout out for an update on what folks are happy with as of recent. The Buell factory bag, it if weren't for the lack of quality would have been perfect... pending the discovery of a great bag (i.e., good quality, fit, function and bang for buck), I may resort to duct tape. One way to add a bit of chrome to our bikes! | ||

Wolfman! They are awesome and made in the USA. I bought one used, threw it in the washer, came out looking great. They are strong and well made, with good zippers. The explorer lite fits well. i've always had one on the cyclone dan and it's not that big of a pain. don't know how much of a difference there would be with the xb's but nice having that accessibility up front. | ||

Its not a pain. Just two buckles and slide the bag back. The bag doesn't sit over the filler cap but it sits close enough to it that it still has to be moved but its simple enough to do. | ||

I simply can't ride without a tank bag. Blocks the wind and holds my coffee and other stuff during my short 7 mile commute. | ||

I got a Bagster and I'm in love. It's a bit on the spendy side, but the quality is unbelievable, and the bag is so nice and so easy to swap on and off that it's my every-day bag for work, even when I'm not riding. It's an interesting system, basically you buy a leather cover that sits over the tank, then you buy a bag that mounts to the cover. Two points on the front and two on the back, and the thing will stay put in a hurricane. Of course, your bike would probably get blown over, but that's not the bag's fault. Sorry for the bad angle. All I had on-hand, strangely enough. Guess I have to take more pictures of my bike. Also, this one is a bit on the big side, but that's what I wanted.
