That's a pretty good deal. I've got my third rear on my Uly and I do like the tires, but man they don't last! First was a slow leaker, replaced at 1k, second was done at 6k and this one will be done soon. |

I saw the email this morning as well as Ive' ordered tires for my FJR from them many times. The tire is still pricy for no real reason i can figure out. Mine will be gone by 7K and I don't ride it hard at all. BS-BA's 020's last 9K on my FJR.....for alot less $'s as well. Just ordered a set of Shinko's for the Uly, we'll see how they do............... |

They are pricey for sure but I look at tires like helmets. When you need that last bit of traction to save your ass that will be the best $130 bucks you ever spent. $50 dollar helmet on a $50 dollar head, you know the rest. |

Can't speak to the "trail's" or "Sync's" but Have had the Strada's on all my bikes since Strada's were made and I have no complaints. At least 10 from the rears, held the corners like glue. |

I have the Stradas on the rear and love them, and have Syncs on the front. Both have similar profiles. I love the Syncs in front (12,000 miles) because they track well in heavy rain and the Stradas give me better mileage that the Syncs in the rear. I only got 7,000 out of the rear Syncs and it looks like I'll get 10 - 11,000 out of the rear Stradas. Stardas in the front may track well in the rain, but I haven't tried them, and don't plan to - very happy with the front Syncs. . |

Obviously I have been getting good mileage out of my Diablo Stradas as this is the first that I have noticed that the Strada is discontinued. I had read plenty of threads about the Angel replacing the strada on many bikes, but didn't realize the Strada would actually go away. For those of us 95% road riding Uly XT guys, is the Angel the next tire if I stay with Pirelli? |

The angels were on sale as well for those interested. I'm ordering two sets of Scorpion Trails. I'll need them both for next summer, so might as well get them while they're discounted. (Plus I've got no interest on my credit card for the next 12 months!) |

Anyone notice the Buell picture in the email advertisement??? It's in the CRUISER category! WTF? And Biffdotorg, the Scorpion Trail should be a contender for the next Pirelli Sport-Touring tire. It's long lasting, dual-compound, and has great on-road traction. Only $15 more for a set over the Syncs right now too. Alright, I'm done being the Scorpion Trail fan-boy now. At least in this thread. For today. |

The sale is on all Pirelli tires at Motorcycle Superstore. I ordered a set of Scorpion Trails to replace my soon to be worn out Syncs. |

Gentlemen, I would never attempt to stand between anybody and a good deal, and that is a pretty good price. If it makes a difference to you, and it may not, I just spoke with "The Motorcycle Superstore" and they informed me that they are not allowed to ship tires overseas to U.S. Military. When I pointed out that TireRack.com and TiresUnlimited.com ship tires to the US Military on a regular basis with the APO system, I was informed that The Superstore elects to not deal with the US Military APO system and they have a contract with UPS. So after we established that they lied about not being ALLOWED to ship APO, and confirmed that they elected not to deal with the Military APO system, I have elected to not do any business with "The Motorcycle Superstore". Some of you VETERANS and family of Servicemen may feel the same. Keep up the good work and keep on flying the Buell flag. |

Mike, So the Scorpion Trail is sort of a happy medium from the Sync and the Strada? That's what I am seeing anyway. Looks like MSS has already sold out of the most popular 180/55/17 that we all want. Thanks for the advice, if you can't trust the human pocketbike, who can you trust!! (I love that vid, I want a setup like that for Halloween) |
