I have a lightning long which I have semi converted into a uly. I have swapped the front fairing and rear sub frame, but not the suspension(yet??)
I am still running the lightning rear sets. Is the ulys foot position any different then a lightning long?
I am aware of the passenger peg situation.
I am just curious if the uly rear set gives a more relaxed position then the llightning long.
Thanks in advance
Jason

Huge difference, the Uly peg mounts lower the pegs a good 3 inches.

The uly shifter gives it away. Its on a lowering bracket for a reason.

Oh yea, I fine the xb peg mounts to be more comfortable being they are much higher. The Uly peg mounts are way too low for the SS suspension and give harley lean angles.

I don't know the answer between the Uly and Lightning Long, I'm curious about how far it pushes your heals outward. I noticed a huge difference between the Uly and 1125. My heals on the Uly being pushed out further than the 1125R. Anyone have any thoughts? I'm still thinking about picking up an XB12SCG. Thanks.

Not trying to threadjack, just thought it fit with the original question.

Thanks guys that's what I thought. Just wanted confirmation.
I was thinking the same thing froggy, 3" lower with a suspension that is about 2" lower then a uly is not a good idea. I do have the cycle pirates adjustable pegs now. They are adjusted to the lowest position(approx 2")
Granted I do not plan on dragging knee. This is meant as my everyday sport router/ errand runner. With hard bags being next on my list.

And I am 6' 2" so what is comfortable for you isn't for me.
I do have a 06 tall seat on its way which should solve my problem. I am running a low seat now.

The 1125 is a narrower chassis and powertrain than an XB, so your feet are closer together. I keep missing my shifter on quick "oh s**t" entrance downshifts on the 1125 because I forget to toe-in enough....of course, that could be partially due to the Ulysses pegs I have on my CR, moving my feet out 1/4" each side...
