23 Sep 10 - Left 7ish arriving in Bush, LA around 6:30ish. Happy Birthday Sadie! 718 miles. Great day to ride a Buell.

24 Sep - Off to Baton Rouge to see Crystal and her family. Got soaked, but another great ride.

25 Sep - Return to Bush, LA. Kollin steals a Yamaha and we tear up Lee road (SR40) and I learn to love Section Rd. Lot's of twistees and hills. Made a half a dozen ride videos. Then it was off to Bourbon Street crossing the longest bridge in the U.S. Another great day to ride a Buell.

26 Sep - Time to go home, but first, breakfast with Erin. Perfect weather in LA, MS, AL, rain starts in Florida. 200 miles of rain later, I give up and get a room in Tallahassee. I would've swapped my Buell for a dry ride home. Rain stops long enough for me to find a laundry mat and dry my clothes. Rains all night.

27 Sep - Still raining when I decide to hit the road...and then it pours. Thunder and lightning everywhere for 122 miles. Rain finally stops, so I get gas, empty my boots and wring out my socks. Eventually make it to I-95 south, mostly sunny skies, dry out and it's another great day to ride a Buell! Total trip: 1804 miles. What a Ride!

I was in that same storm that morning from Madison to Lake City, had my stomach tied in knots with all the lightning and a bald tire...
Good news is new tire is going on tomorrow!
