Any other MN or WI Badwebbers heading to the Flood Run this weekend? This will be my first time on the Flood Run and am looking forward to meeting many new people.

I guess this bi-annual run has been around since the 60's, so it is getting larger each year.

If so, I hope you give a wave at the dirty red xt!

I won't be able to make it this fall, but I ride the Flood Run every year. (Tip...Make sure you go to Maiden Rock!)

I'm thinking about taking a ride to Maiden Rock myself. I'll probably be on the 1125R.

I'm thinking about doing the Flood Run again this year but am not sure yet. I may have to work overtime this weekend. If I do ride, I will probably start north of Red Wing and go down to Winona, cross over to WI and head north again.

Not sure what the forecast is yet either. Last I heard was 20% chance of rain and 62 degrees for a high. Keep your eye out for another red XT!

Well, my first flood run was a success. From the Fargo/Moorhead area it was a good 800 miles for the long weekend.

This cold weather is gonna set into my head though! That was enough miles with leather pants, neck gaitors and heated grips. Can't say enough about good gear.

If you have never considered the Lake Pepin area between MN and WI, go do it. That was some pretty riding. The fact that each stop was filled with bikes was the icing on top!

Maiden Rock was the best. That turn coming off and going back onto the highway was a blast to watch. More burnouts and stalled bikes than you can imagine. I guess this is a common place for Harleys to dump as I saw one Ultra Classic tip in the middle of the intersection!

Saw a few Buells out, but this was an overwhelmingly Harley event. Good thing we didn't run into too much gang activity.

Some of my club brothers might make that run. If you see any XWINOS, tell them Rhubarb said hi : )
