will another model buell rear shock get my uly down 2 inchs? could it over torgue the belt/eng mounts at full compression?

Not sure how much other shocks will drop you, but they'll all fit. The XT shock is the closest match and it'll keep the nifty remote preload adjuster. Other XB shocks will work as well.

You won't over-stress the belt at full compression; the belt is tightest with the suspension completely unloaded.

06-07 Lightning Long shock and forks bolt right on, will drop you 2.09"
