While cleaning my bike this week I noticed an area on the rear fender that indicates it has been coming into contact with the under seat panel (bottoming out). I ride my bike hard and I admit it may have seen air a couple of times, anyone else notice the contact? It looks like fine scratches on both parts where they come into contact with one another.

I have the same thing on my Uly.
Some times it bottoms out really hard if I'm sitting and moving fast through a intersection.
The suspension doesn't seem to bottom out if I stand up while moving through the rolling intersections.
I also weight about 250 pounds with out my Roadcrafter on. That may have something to do with it.

Thats what you get for cleaning it! LOL
Yeah I've got the same marks on mine. But my 240lbs has absolutely nothing to do with it!

my tender tush likes the rear preload just a few turns less then factory recommendations

Mine lacks the said marks, even with my ultra low Lightning Long suspension.
