I went out for a little ride yesterday, mainly trying to see how the little venom camera I bought works. I spent most of the ride trying to avoid the rain, but I wasn't totally successful at that. I did stop for one photo though.

BTW, my Ulysses is not for sale.

I don't know if this will work, but I am going to see if I can link up the little video. If it works please disregard the cheesy them I accidentally put on it playing around with iMovie. Nothing really worth watching in it, I just want to see if I can even make it work.

Ok, I can't figure out how to make the video play without it opening a new browser window. A little help please.

Not bad, that video is viewable. Could you mount the camera behind the windscreen though? All the head movement was making me dizzy.

I agree about the head movement. I am going to look for alternative mounting locations next time.

If the camera suffers from an rolling shutter issues (road and powerlines get wavy) don't bother mounting it to the bike unless you're going to constantly keep the rpm over three grand. Video from bar mounted cam on '07 883r was flawless, I've tried bars, turn stalks, front cover and upper tubes un the Uly... below two grand the video's terrible. Using an oregon scientific and a go-hero wide currently.
You just need to learn to keep a steady / level head... a lot harder than it seems.
