With 3500 miles on the clock, my factory rear Diablo has warn smooth on the side of the tire from having too much fun going around turns. I want to get as many miles out of it as possible but don’t want to push it too far. I wonder how long it will take to get to the cords. I really don’t want to find out when I’m 50 miles from home. Has anyone warn the tire down to the belts on the side and not the middle? Fortunately UPS delivered my new tire last nigh so it’s just a matter of getting it mounted. |

I totalled a bike while trying to squeeze out a few more miles from a front tire. The new tire was in my garage. |

Do I have to say your riding risk includes the condition of your bike. Why risk it, get a new tire. |
