Need to ride to the shop to have tips put on but I'm worried about the heat on the back tire.

Won't matter at all. The pipe produces the most heat when under load, that happens when the tire is rotating. The V&H pipe on my Blast exits in the same place. |

Joe.....I was tired and just could not put the extra letters together to say "my wife's Blastulys". I hope that makes you feel better! |

It is OK for 40 miles at moderate speeds. I would not leave it like that. Need more pics. |

It's an Edelbrock RPM I got off a badwebber last week. Front's mounted to a Jardine adapter pipe and the back's held up by the stock Buell hanger. The Jardine kit is also used to hold the fairing on. I cut down the rear pipe to give enough clearance for turn outs but need to get them welded on still. |

Oh, and I just rode it for the first time and it's as loud as the Jardine...maybe louder. Still need to play with the fuel but runs OK on the Jardine maps. |

Rode 40 miles to work this morning without any issues. Tire did feel a tad warm though! |
