Finally got tired of the pulsation and changing pads, cleaning and all the other tricks. I didn't even want to deal with warranty since my local Buell dealership went under. I bought the Eric Buell racing rotor and new mounting hardware and a set of pads. All I can say is what a difference the new rotor made. Smooth stops are quite nice. The new mounting hardware bolts the rotor directly to the wheel. No more floating rotor. It was also cheaper than the stock rotor and hardware. Erik Buell Racing was a fast shipper as well. JB |

Dito, used the 6mm Erik Buell Racing rotor but with the original hardware and Lyndall gold pads---What a difference!!! Replaced the pads in the back with Ferodo's. My Uly feels like a different bike. Just completed a 500 mile trip-awesome! Thank you Erik Buell Racing & American Sportbike |

I'm up to 6000 miles on my Erik Buell Racing rotor and mounting kit. Still smooth as butter. |

But are you sure the rotor is no longer floating? it seems strange to me. |

The rotor can still move a bit, but the Belleville washers hold it so tightly that you cannot move it by hand. The caliper has some float in it, so no worries. |
