Bought a used Honda XR650L yesterday for while the Uly is down with a broken throttle shaft. Its NOT a touring bike (you knew that) but will be fun for trailing once the real motorcycle is fixed. Which leads me to ask-------- Any progress on the effort to build a better shaft? My cousin went on vacation which I assumed was a week but I've been calling him this week and he's not answering so I assume he took two weeks. The problem is I'm leaving tomorrow for two weeks also. I will try to contact him while I'm gone and if I ever have internet access I'll let everybody know if there is any news.
