Back on May 31st, my 2009 Uly XP sheared it's header bolt. Bike has been in shop since then.

Was at the MotoGP at Laguna, when dealer called to tell me Harley has a release date on my new frame! Will call tomorrow to see when it gets all put back together, but looks like I'll hopefully be back In the saddle soon.

You sheared a header bolt and are getting a new frame? What happened? Hope you get it back soon.

That's only 2 months (so far).

I waited 4 months for the ET Sensor.

I read the whole thing and it still makes no sense.
There is no fuel in the frame down there. They are replacing the frame because there is an abrasion in the finish.
They are replacing the heads because the exhaust nuts fell off.
I'm confused. This shop aint on the left coast.

That is great customer service. I think.

@Florida_lime: ouch!!!

@panhead_dan: yeah, I don't get it either. On the last "conjugal visit" I had the dealer show me the abrasion. Minuscule. But, "the factory" told dealer to replace the frame. So long as I get my bike back in working order, it's all good.

All's well that ends well. Got bike back, and though I only got to ride briefly (50ish miles) before heading out on a business trip, it sure felt good.

Kudos to Cowboy HD for turning the bike around in a few days after they got the frame!
