Ok, thought I had fixed everything from my recent mishap but perhaps not. Can someone check the distance between the fairing and the forks, throttle side? Mine appears bent away from the forks on that side. Thanks Kurt |

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but if it is....looks like about 3/4". It appears further away from the forks than on the left side because the left side wraps back around the fork a bit.

3 pics show a crooked instrument panel. Not sure why is is crooked. Any thoughts?

Kurt, on my '06 the same measurement that Andy has shown is closer to 1/2". This is an old shot of my instruments but the cross-bar and instruments are pretty close to being in line. From what I can see the castings for the side pieces are mounted to the tab that protrudes down from the top triple so it could be tweeked a bit?

Kur it looks like your forks are tweaked. Loosen all the triple clamp bolts and force it straight. Looks like mine did after the HD shop "fixed" my crash damage last year. |
