The 10k mile mark! (Bought it new 9 1/2 months ago!) At my 10k mile photo stop And for good luck for the next 10k, I made sure my 10,000th mile ride included a wheelie, a 100mph run, and a bit of off roading.

2 SMD5050 led strips: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-30cm-White12-505 0-SMD-LED-Strip-12V-Free-Shipping-_W0QQcmdZViewIte mQQhashZitem335ea4639bQQitemZ220631163803QQptZMoto rsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Run through a strobe module, resistor, and diode to run 50% bright for a tail light, then strobe for a second to 100% brightness for brakelight. The little LED light beneath the license plate is wired to the same circuit. Install pictures here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/521649.html?1271714596 I'll trade you top-cases, you know, since this one already has the lights installed! I'm right behind you Mike, bought mine about 8 months and 7,000 miles ago. How did you mount your antenna to your rack? looks like a trucker mirror mount? |

Nice. Might have to look into that. My box is already wired, but running only 5 LED's from a Dodge Magnum R/T highmount brake light. Not a very big "spread", it's only about 5" long...I like your setup, looks very stock and mirrors the OEM taillight nicely. I'll trade ya boxes, sure. I have a spare stock top box, just have to pull my orange panel off for ya But, I plan to do the install on my 50L topcase...so I'd just have to pull and remount the strips anyway lol. I might also steal your wiring for the 4 ways...nice work. |

Funny.....I usually do a wheelie every time it passes over a 1000 mile mark. 53 of them so far! |

What's the antenna on the back of your bike used for? |

I hit ten thousand while driving through Okemos, MI on my way to the East Lansing waterpark last week. I must look really creepy knocking the little kids out of the way to get to the top of the waterslide first. |

Mikef5000 I am curious what brand of Racks are you using for your top case and side cases. Most of what I have found says that for the top case, you have to remove the side grab bars, and the Triple Tail? Thanks |

My luggage racks are the OEM Buell parts. Came stock on my XT. I have a CB radio in my tank bag for long trips. The antenna is wired to that. The bag is not on for these pictures. |

Mike, any chance of seeing a pic of your barkbusters mounted? Do the heated grips still work? Thanks David |

Mine just hit 30,000 yesterday. Didn't see it coming, already came and went when I was out in northwest MA, VT, NH area. I'll try not to miss the next big round number. (: |
