I finally received the Drummer SS muffler today. I also bought the chin spoiler kit. While mounting the kit, I noticed the left bracket has two holes that mount under the side stand. But my side stand has three bolts. So if I mount it this way, the 3rd bolt will have a gap between the side stand frame and the bike frame. That can't be ok. I think it needs some sort of spacer to fill that area. Has anyone else run into this? If so, what was your solution? I sent a note to Kevin to get his input as well.

Of course, the muffler didn't come with instructions that I could find in the box. So I went ahead and mounted the muffler. When I ran into this issue, I went online and found mounting instructions on the KDFab website that said to mount the bracket before the muffler. Grrrr. But that still leaves the issue of the 2 bolt bracket and the 3 bolt side stand.

Simple solution: that pipe is beautiful! Skip the chin fairing!

Sorry, best pic of the bike from the side that I have!

Kevin responded to my question with "Put a flat washer in there. It'll be fine." Simple enough.

But Andy is right. As I held the chin spoiler in place, it just didn't look all that good. The bike looks much better with that muffler exposed. So it's going to stay naked for now.

Yeah, sorry for not being of any actual help : p

I thought I really wanted the chin fairing on it at first...but then the look grew on me and now...no way!
