I want to stuff more things under my seat, like raingear or little things but am afraid of messing up the BAS. Has anyone come up with a way of permanently bypassing this little device? I have no need for it. Just another gadget to leave me stranded. There must be a way to jumper the wires so as to fool the ECM that it's still there. Anyone done this yet? Greg |

IIRC... you might be able to disable that with ECMSpy |

Disable in ECMspy/Tunerpro, then remove it. |

I dunno...I dislike the idea of a bike on its side RUNNING. Not like a carb that'll get fuel starved laying down and eventually die; EFI will keep on plugging away no matter the angle. I'd find a way to relocate it somewhere, personally... |

If you have the comfort kit then relocate it back to the stock location if your bike is old enough. I never moved mine on my 06, although the dealer was supposed to they forgot. Good thing as far as I'm concerned, never had any problems. |
