Hoping someone can help... when the bike is turned off after a ride, the fan fuse blows. Any ideas??? Thanks. |

Probably means your fan is on the way out. That was the only symptom that occurred when mine failed. |

You could check to see if some road debris did not find its way into the fan. The fan will draw more current if it does not spin. |

Your fan is dead. Mine was doing the same thing. Have fun changing it and be careful of the tq value in the SM for the upper shock bolt. I stripped mine out while using a tq wrench set to 50 ft lbs, hadn't gotten to the specified amount and now I've got to get a helicoil installed. |

I had the same problem and found that my fan was dirt and oil fouled as a result of topping up the engine oil too far, oil getting sucked into the intake, leaking back down the rear cylinder head, and into the fan. Cleaning things up and correcting the oil level cured things. |
