Was doing the 10K service yesterday (no I'm not doing the fork oil). While putting on a new K & N, I thought to check the muffler actuator and noticed it wasn't fully opening, maybe only 60%. I lubed up the cable and worked it good and now full range. There's a little dot on top of the servo that seems to indicate the end of travel of the edge of the cam. I'm going for a ride now to see if grin factor increases. | ||

If you ride with the air box cover off you can watch the servo. It doesn't open unless you are WOT. If you don't hot rod it much it doesn't get much use I'm afraid. | ||

No real performance change but I didn't get much of a chance to crack it open. sounds "throatier" with the K & N on. Almost 90 today and comfort kit working great! |
