What are first indications of the front isolator going bad. Mine has not dropped down ont bolt head yet but it seems as if every ripple in the road or engine is felt. I have the suspension adjusted perfectly for the last four years and I have tweeked it to see if there is any change, nope. also going to swap to magnecore SP wires due to front plug not looking very good at last change (last wed).

Are you feeling more than usual vibrations in the bars, foot pegs, and seat? Can you see major cracks in the webbing that is the rubber isolator?

There are many threads in the past relating to this, with pictures of damaged isolator rubber.

Check your primary chain adjustment. If that's on the money, the next most likely culprit is the front isolator.

Check your isolator when the bike is off of the kickstand. If it's on the kickstand, the bike will be leaning on the motor, which pushes the isolator up, making it look like it's still good. Mine had me fooled.......
Just get a buddy to look at it while you stand it up, or, if your flexible.......

Etennuly, Cannot see up into the isolator, I rember some of the pics and you could not tell the isolator was bad until it ws removed. Not sure about vibrations perhaps more of the low freq. type of a v-twin than the buzz of a 4 banger. Hughlesses, will check this weeekend, thanks for the tip, gunut I have a font wheel chocke/stand that stands bike upright, and it looks like I still have the space between the bolt head and the rubber.About a year ago when this issue was cropping up with the Uly's I ordered a replacement, now I guess I will just swap out the old one, I need to take the bike to a shop where they have an impact driver to break lose the bolt, seems as if it is seized up, and cannot get leverage with the breaker bar to break it lose. thanks folks
