Do the 2 trip meters only go up to 999.9 miles then reset back to 0? Just been on a long 2500 mile trip and was using one for the fuel tank and one for the total distance. Had a check of the total distance after a while and it only had 33 miles on it, thought id reset it by mistake at sometime but it happened again at the next 1000 too

I'm pretty sure all X or XT models do this regardless of year--might even be the case with all XBs, though I have experienced it on the Ulys specifically.

Yes, same 'problem' on my Uly 2006 at long distance trips.

Yeah, that is the nature of the tripometers. I kinda wish they would have kept going also, it would be neat to look at it to actually see that you went 2480 miles instead of 480.

But on the other hand it is not too difficult to track the 1000's with a pen and paper.

My new GPS unit somehow jumped from 2000 to 8000 on it's mileage chart. Kind of interesting how it had my average speed at 460 mph for quite a while. Guess I had better check into that before my warranty is up.
