I'm thinking about getting an exhaust for my Uly. I'm not looking to set car alarms off just a little rumble to it. Any ideas, what's the least noisey?

A lightly modified stock exhaust is going to be the quietest. Beyond that, all the aftermarket pipes are loud but sound different.

I wish mine was a little louder, but not much. I had a Spec Ops on my CityX and a V&H on my Cyclone, I'm not looking for that kinda loud.
How could I oh so very slightly modify mine on my Uly?

I have been wanting to add a second outlet to mu stock muffler to add a bit of a rumble, has anyone tried it? Based on the pictures of the muffler internals it could do some wacky stuff. I dont want to make the hole and find out I screwed up my muffler but I guess it would be real easy to cover the hole if it doesnt work out.

Send your pipe to Odie at Special Ops:
http://www.specialops-online.com/

He is a great guy, does fantastic work, your muffler will retain the valve, you chin fairing will still bolt right up, your bike retains the jack points, he doesn't charge too much ($275)....and he'll do custom outlets etc. I bet he'd even do a slightly quieter version if you'd like!

There is the hole in the internal pipe techniqe. Do a search and you should find it.

setting off car alarms is kinda fun

you could just cut the muffler off, the headers are already pointing down.
Hmm. has anyone done that yet?

I was looking at the D&D slip-ons. Anyone have input on these?

D&D on my 12s, HOLY CRAP LOUD!!!!! I do not think anything is louder except the force pipe, which is a mega-phone, so of course it is loud

With what you posted, its not for you!! But I loved mine, FWIW

I happened to find a Buell race muffler that worked for what I wanted and it is not really too loud. At least not as loud as the stock one that was modded when I bought my Uly. I do have some ideas on a mod that would not change the configuration of a stock muffler that much. It is kind of like the Voodoo exhaust mod. If I get a chance to post some pics of my idea I will get them up on here.
