It has since been at the dealership for about 2 months and we are still supposedly waiting on parts. I know a few of you work at dealerships, so I was wondering if you could help me figure out what the hold up is. Right now I have all the parts that were ordered in minus the below: L0009.1AKYBQ TAILSECTION, RH MAGNESIUM TON L0010.1AKYBQ TAILSECTION, LH MAGENESIUM TON M0662.02A8MBK FENDER, FRONT, RACING RED N1016.1AK TAIL RACK WITH GRAPHIC M1224.1AVMBK INTAKE COVER KIT, RACING RED M1601.1AVMBK FLYSCREEN KIT, RACING RED, W/D what I am being told is that there is no way for them to track where the parts are and how much longer it will take for them to be delivered. The dealership says he can only see if they are "waiting", "boxed", or "shipped". Is this true? What could be taking so long if they aren't making anymore parts. Could they be on backorder this long? I am trying to be understanding, but this process is taking way to long. Although it could just be the situation with Buell being no more. Might be a few parting out but hard to say. Would keep getting a run around when they were going to ship...2 months later they finally arrived last Thursday....only problem is they keyed them wrong even though we had given them (and they acknowledged it) the correct key code.
