Hello Friends, I got a spare header and i decided to ceramic coat it, but i'd like either gold or copper ceramic coat i found this:
http://www.vhtpaint.com/flameproof.html

But i'm sure some of you must have some ideas, my uly is fast black with amber wheels and brake levers, I accept sugestions.

Thanks.

On my X1, the headers got hot enough to make the 2000 degree stuff want to brush right off. I don't think it's actually good to anywhere near 2000 degrees.

Imma gonna send my header to Pete at Grand Stand Designs this winter : )

Ive had the same results as Andy with these. But it would be a inexpensive way to see if you like the look, and live with it a bit.

I think (but not sure) that they bead blast or something similar to clean the surface before they do ceramic coating, so it wouldnt hurt. Might call grandstand and find out.

Post pics when you do..

Well, I live in Spain it's not easy to find people who can paint headers or ceramic coat them, and wrapping the header is not an option for me, thank you for the reply.

You might also contact Jet Hot, they do international biz. Though Ive not ever seen a ceramic in the color you want. if it was sent out for repair, you may be able to not have to pay some tax's vat etc.

Just an idea.
