hi all, today was the days to give the Uly a proper run out again and with the weather nice the wife and i headed northwest towards the Cotswolds (UK). i was on my 06'Uly and the missus on her 96'F650...both bike ran superb as usual... interestingly we filled both bikes at the same times and my 1200 used only 0.1ltr more than the 650 single of the missus, but we did keep to all speed limit etc.. here are a few pics  the first stop was this lovely stately home...(wish i could be that rich!)  i took a closer picture of my noble steed:  we stopped for lunch at a place called "Broadway" - lovely little town with great pubs...  as we arrived at the pub there was a large wedding party just having their welcome drinks before heading to the church... they were later picked up by a superbly restored old london bus:  anyway, after 6 hours out we got back home and gave both bikes a wash too... all in all a lovely day! Do they sell Buells in the UK?? I didn't know they had dealerships there. Must be hard to get service! | ||

servicing is easy - most things i do myself and if i get stuck i have a great ex HD guy who runs his own workshop nearby. and yes, they did sell Buells here in the UK, for a long time...most HD dealer had a Buell section (Message edited by Lars1974 on May 31, 2010) |
