Went out to the garage this morning just glanced at the belt for some reason and noticed a hairline crack. So time to start worrying, 06 with 14K? I do have a new belt on back order. Maybe it is age related? My friend has an 06 within 20 digits of my serial number and he is over 35K on the original belt.

there is likely no need to worry. I rode my XB9S extremely hard for about 10k with 2 holes through the belt with issues. I only replaced it because I got a brand new belt, newest vesion for $80 shipped, so I now keep the old as a spare.

if it gives you peace of mind, then replace it. But keep the old as a spare.
