How many gr. wires is there on the steering head gr. screw. I have 4 I lost the gr. to my horn I didn't see another wire. |

there should be 4 into 1 lug on the steering head. |

That would be 4 into 2 (rather light duty) lugs. I tied all 4 of mine into one heavy lug and routed the wires for the least amount of movement possible. I also carry a #2 range lug in my spares kit just in case. |

Right, 2 lugs. This is how I fixed mine: http://s678.photobucket.com/albums/vv141/ronmold/U ly%20flyscreen%20grounds/?albumview=slideshow I may have to do this for all the wires bending at the steering head cable clamp if they start breaking. |

When my horn ground broke at that point the internal wires broke but the plastic outer remained intact so the wire 'looked' OK. If you give each wire a gentle tug right at the lugs a wire that is broken internally will stretch slightly. Over the miles (60K) I have had all four of these break - they are : Horn Blinker Relay Headlights Aux Power Connector I have a flexible braid solution in mind but haven't done it yet. |
