Author Message   Okc99 Posted on Sunday, May 16, 2010 - 06:55 pm:        Many of us would love to light the Uly like a Xmas tree, but some of us just don't want the cost/hassle of more lights. So...for Mem Day Wkd I was thinking of attaching some kind of tall flag (4 ft maybe) on the back-end to help me me visible and avoid cagers pulling out in front of me. I don't know what the legal implications are though. How high and what colors can you show on a bike? Remember after 9/11 when everyone had a dozen flags on their cars, then a month later they deteriorated? Its one thing sitting on a stationary pole, but constant flapping at highway speeds will destroy it, plus it hurts your fuel economy.   Natek Posted on Monday, May 17, 2010 - 01:41 am:        I once flew a flag (3'x5') on the back of my truck in a hitch mount that I fabbed up for it, dad made me take it off said it was illegal, never looked into it though... If you get a good flag, which is $$$ it'll last forever out in the weather/wind.
