Did a search and was amazed I couldn't come up with much.

So what are the claimed 0-60 Times from Buell? - Not list on the buell site.

And what are some average times from you folks?

Who gives a s*#t. When you twist the throttle, does it make you smile or not? If not, get a different bike. If so...keep smiling!

Well,

Hangetsu,

I give a shit, that's why I asked the question. I love the bike and it does make me smile. But Maybe it's my OCD, maybe I like stat's, or maybe it's a question I'm asking after reading a post on the 1125 board.

In any case, I'm asking it. If you don't know the answer, or think a smartass response is necessary, I would appreciate it if you would keep it to yourself.

+1 Whisperstealth to your response to Hangetsu. Nothing worse than comments from the peanut gallery that ridicule or don't even come close to answering the question.

Now Hangetsu, you know these here youngins ain't got very thick skin. Hard furem to know when yer just jokin. Gotta take er easy on em or they get all upsettin ya know. They just seem to take life too serious I guess. They'll figer it out some day don't ya know.

By the way Whisperstealth, according to Motorcycle Consumer News October 2005 issue the 2006 Uly did 0 - 60 in 4.27 seconds. I had a Cagiva Gran Canyon back then. It did it in 4.07! But the Uly is much more comfy. Here's the link to the performance guide:

My personal best 0-60 (race computers are awesome) was 4.68 seconds.

Thank you a bunch for the info!

I Was reading the on 1125 board where a dad in a monte carlo ss, thought he could beat his son on an 1125. Led to a 0-60 discussion, and made me curious. Once I get curious, I gotta find out. Bad OCD I know.

I do apologize. I guess my use of an expletive made my post come out a bit harsher than I intended.

Sorry.

""I thought it was funny but then I have a sick twisted sense of humor!!""

I thought is was funny, as well - but I would never go as far as to say so in public.

Good man, Alex. We all pull the trigger too quickly at times, hum, how do I know that(?), but realizing it and apologizing is cool.

This is the best motorcycle forum I am on by far, thanks to a great group of members. Very cool.

Yeah, sometimes it's not even the harshness of my thought. I'm simply in a hurry, so what I blot down can sometimes be a little abrupt. No offense intended.

I think that when you go to March Badness or Buelltoberfest etc. you get to know some of the folks on here and you put out some friendly ribbing and then you just keep doing that with everybody. Then somebody new shows up and takes you seriously and that just doesn't seem to work here! SERIOUSLY!

Hey Alex,

Thank's that's way way cool of you to apologize. I need to admit I was too quick to retort, and am sorry as well. Still working on me, and it aint easy.

What Tootal say's is absolutely correct. I've done the same thing many times, and should have realized it.

Thanks all for leading some needed perspective and "keeping real"
