06 Uly - I went through the TPS reset using the ECM Spy writeup below. I zero the reading in #3, when I do #6 and select the Reset TPS button, the online/offline button in ECM Spy goes offline. When I set it back online I can finish the adjustment.
Should it go offline like that? Will it affect the adjustment?

1.Connect the bike with the computer
2.Turn ignition on and set kill switch to the run position
3.Turn out this screw until the throttle voltage doesn't decrease any more
4.Keep winding the screw two additional turns
5.Close the throttle with light clockwise pressure on the throttle grip. The butterfly is fully closed if it sticks inside the manifold. It's essential, that this is done with care, as the TPS reset needs to be done with the butterfly fully closed!
6.Click the "Reset TPS ..." button to perform TPS calibration
7.Turn idle adjustment cable clockwise until TPS degrees read 5.2 - 5.6 degrees. This setting is just to make the engine start and needs to be adjusted to correct idle speed with a warm engine afterwards.
8.Run vehicle until engine temperature is at least 140 °C or 285 °F
9.Set idle speed to 1050-1150 min -1

Mine always goes offline when I do a reset too. I have to reconnect before setting the throttle to the desire readings.

By the looks of Step 8, it sounds like you can do the reset cold.
