I ran into these guys in Colorado. They were headed back to Oregon from Louisiana. The blond one was having vapor lock issues with his bike. The vacuum was all screwed up on that old goldwing. I helped him for a bit and then just told him about an old trick I had learned. Just twist off the gas cap when it started to vapor lock and she would start running again. The other one had a blog called something like "smell the beard", it was pretty funny. We talked for a while, there were worn out. Really check out those goldwings, those dagone tires were done and they still 4-5 states to go... (Message edited by slowride on April 08, 2010) | ||

Badrap: The red color matching of my bags are perfect...but that is only because I had our friend Vern (Etennuly) match the color by hand! You can read all about it here: Metamorphous 2008 I previously tried to have the automotive paint store computer match colors...and it was not nearly as good as a skilled human (and fellow Buell fanatic) doing it. | ||

Thanks for the link Maximum. Now regarding the above gold wing riders. Do you think that pan is big enough? I'm thinking they should have washed that pan after they used it last time. Nothing like traveling light. | ||
