Who has highway pegs on their bike and how do you like them? The only ones I've seen are the ones from Palmer Products.

I do. Sometimes I must run long distances on open road to get to good roads. They work great to stretch out legs. Before the pegs, I would toss my leg over the frame puck but never felt safe doing this. I had one weld break within the first several weeks, but had it repaired for $20 at local weld shop. That was only problem. Fit and finish is up to palmer products high standards. Would purchase again, but would like to have the little tab on right side removed.

I have the Palmers, Very nice to have an alternative position. Had to mod the comfort kit to fit but not really a problem. When used with the Rox risers & my custom backrest (which I have a few for sale) it's like riding a lazyboy.

I have also been considering a Palmers Highway peg kit, but they sure seem pricey.

Does anyone have any good pics of the mounting points ? They don't really show these well on the website pics.

They bolt on existing motor mounts with bolts they send. 15 min install at most. You must order their pegs or use a set of Uly pillion pegs as I did.

Hey Ronmold, what's the skinny on that backrest ? I think I might need one.

Ronmold, Thanks for posting a few pics. The whole unit is more obscure than I thought it might be which is a good thing.

Is the "tab" thing on the right side pic more or less like a heat shield to keep your leg from the exhaust when using the highway pegs ?

Yes but comfort kit makes it unnecessary.
