I'm not trying to help sell S100 here. I'm just trying to avoid a messy muffler that will require attention.

It's early in my muffler's life, no doubt, and it has NEVER seen water which could be a big factor, but after 3500 miles since Oct. 25 my muffler could be sold as 'looking' new. I wiped off a little road grime after a 1000 mile trip last week and put on some more S100. Quick and easy. I first put it on at about 200 miles and treated it 2-3 additional times in the first 1000 miles.

I have friends who swear by the stuff so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll periodically, every 3-5,000 miles, report back, unless it takes a turn for the worse sooner, then I'll let you know ASAP.

Cool! I know it works wonders on crinkle black engines- I used to use it on my S3.

Right, that's the Engine Brightener, Hughlysses. That stuff does work well. I'm hoping for the same with the Corrosion Protectant that, as I mentioned, is raved about by a couple of friends who go on and on with examples of successes. I won't 'rave' unless my muffler gets to big miles, in varied conditions, and still looks great. If it does, I'll 'happily' rave!

Mine was looking great until I rode in the rain a couple days straight and then left it out side for a week while in Tennessee.

I´m using S100 stuff since day 1 on my Road King and my Uly as well. I´m real satisfied with the results. Just tried the Corrosion Protector on the muffler before last winter. Have not ridden the bike that much. Will see how it works. On my old muffler (replaced under warranty), I used WD40 with not much success. By the way S100 offers a bug protector spray and that is a very good product wich helps to save a lot of time to get the bike clean.
