Coolice, We have to set up a ride soon. I had my XP out for the first time this year and only managed about 100 miles. Maybe I'll make it down in a couple of weeks. | ||

I have only 250 miles on my 2010 XB X. I have to say, I am loving it so far. It seems that all of the little details were finally mopped up for the last few that left the factory. The fuel map, which was always a bit rough on my 06 at low RPM, is now silky smooth. The front brake is perfect. I like the black powder coat everywhere. Fit and finish is improved. 3 bearing rear wheel is assuring (although I rolled 27K trouble free miles on my 06 bearings) and the integrated heated grips are glorious. The new bike seems to me almost the perfect motorcycle. I am even learning to enjoy the neon Yellow color. It is such a tragedy that Buell Motor Company is not around to make more of them since they finally got all the kinks worked out.  | ||

Windrider, Is the Buell emblem on the air box cover raised letters like other Buells? All the pictures that I've seen they look flat, like a decal. I ordered the 2010 Yellow AB Cover and wind screen for my new 2009. I have orange now and bought Blue parts when I got the bike but I'm not liking the blue in person. | ||

I almost had my hands on a 2010, but thankfully (for my marriage sake) it was sold to someone else before I could get there with my deposit! I wasn't about to sell my highly moded 2006 Uly to get it...but I might have had to put the kids up on ebay!  | ||

The 2010 Uly is just refined. I will miss my 06, but the ORANGE was faster and the YELLOW is fastest! Not done adding to it yet either. Just got the 06 ready to sell. XB xp keep in touch, been busy around the house, racing about to get going! So how many of the 10's are there going to homecoming? | ||

It's not technically a new bike, so it's listed under pre-owned Cdale. Almost makes me wish I had held off on buying my 07 last year...till I think of all the fun I have had on it. I might have to look in to test riding the 10 this weekend though... thanks Charlie | ||

Neal, thanks! I have my 2010 Yellow bodywork ordered along with the short dark screen and turn signals. sure wish I had the black frame. Oh well, I think my 2009 will look good in Yellow. I'm going to keep my Orange bodywork and maybe sell the Thrust Blue parts. I thought I'd like the blue but once I pulled the parts out of the box, I think the color looks different than the pictures. anyone what a Thrust Blue air box cover and wind screen? here is an photoshop 2009 with Yellow bodywork.... I found another used 2010 Uly while looking around the internet this morning, this one at Orange County HD in Irvine, CA. This one's black, has 157 miles on it, and comes with the hard bags. $12995. | ||

I sure do like the yellow. How much needed to purchse the yellow stuff. I have black but it would be nice to change out for easter.Also is there a fussion paint that matches the yellow, I would also paint my bag inserts and perhaps the grey part of the chin fairing. I bought my XT at HDSC in Duluth last summer, and it was a very good experience, and I love the bike. I'd recommend them. Another plus, is you can pick it up and go get fitted for an Aerostich at the same time. | ||

...and ride the North Shore in the Spring. Never bought a bike up there, but the folks seemed very decent--standard HD dealership tho. That is, except for one of the clothing managers who was a Buell fan and the only other person in the dealership sporting the East Troy colors at their open house. |
