I was wondering what tyre preasures we're running on I'm a solo rider (unfortunately) with a weight of 150/160 lbs and they tyre preasures is 2,5 front and 2,6 rear ( dunlop sportmax qualifier II) a bike shop said I should be on 3,0, but I think is to much any one could correct me if I'm wrong?

Thanks

Don't know about that specific tire, but what I run in every tire I've used on the Uly is:

Front: 2,5 (36 psi)
Rear: 2,6 (38 psi)

Just like you thought! IMHO 3,0 is way too high.

And of course in the gravel perhaps 1,7 or so...

My manual says 36 psi all the way around no matter what the load.

It says 34psi in front and 36psi in rear on my frame so that is what I run.

I'm 36/38 on 616s, all three bags, '06 UlyX. Seems to keep the treadwear as even as possible...but around 10 or 11k the front tire gets a little goofy so I change it ; )

One way to tell that the tire pressure is right for you and the way you ride is to look for a 10% gain from cold to hot. So if you started with 38# cold you'd want to have 41.8 (okay 42) after the tires warm up. This allows for load, driving style and outside temp.
