Hi All,

Thx for all of your excellent comments, opinions, and information! It's good to know that seeing as my dealer are a bunch of useless clowns I can count on BWB to help me out!

On that note, I have a new issue that I'm hoping you could help me out with.

When I installed the fancowling for the rider comfort kit I had to remove the side panniers bracketry to remove the trunck pan. Problem is that now I cant seems to align the panniers screw holes vis-avis the seat frame holes to screw it back in!

Anyone else have issues getting the side panniers installed?

How did you fix it?
Is there an order in which I have to build the bracketrey?

Thx all.

Journey brackets?

If so, they sometimes don't fit right. Loosen ALL the mounting bolts and try again. Just get them all started and circle around tightening a bit at a time.

It's a pain but that's the best way, at least it works on mine. BadWeB helped me out with this back in '06. Dealer even was willing to swap out my brackets for a new set they had in stock but they didn't fit either.

My right side bracket is a PITA to install,I thought my bracket was bent cause I got the bags used.
Seems like everyone has the same problem.

Like Xbimmer said, make sure you keep all the bolts loose until you have everything lined up and partly started.

When I installed mine it still took a bit of pressure and pushing to get it to all line up.

This might help you,
