Finally was able to get the uly out from the long winter break today. While putting it back in the garage tonight I notice a click in the front end when turning the handlebars left and right. There is a pronounced click both left and right just before full lock position. Not sure I remember this last year, it's been a long winter.

Any thoughts??

Hold the front brake and do the same motion, does it still click? If the click goes away then it is just the floating rotor. If not then it is probably worst case steering head bearings.

I had this problem. It was the steering-head bearings.

I replaced them myself.

Problem solved.
