I have a Vista Cruse POS that works well but takes up a little room on the grip. Shoot me an email and I will send you a few pics tonight after work.I had to fab a small bracket that attaches to the hand gaurd screw. Easy job.

I have been using one that I picked up at an auto parts store for $1. I think it is 2 1/2 inches maybe 2 1/4. It works great for long runs, like when you are cruising, but I take it off when I know I am going to be using the throttle like in the twisties.

Thats the same thing I have. I had to make a bracket that replaced the stand off that clamps around the bars. Tied it to the Handgaurd screw. Wish one of these know it alls would post us on how to post a pic. To much trouble I guess to answer the same guestions over and over! AHhahaaaaaa. Lets start an oil / tire / chain lube thread. Oh thats right, we have belts now. HAhahaaaaaaa.

Installing Vista Cruise throttle lock

It entails:

Trimming traction grip back from switch housing (before installing grip)

Trimming tab off throttle lock

Drilling a small hole in throttle lock and housing for a small bolt/nut to
secure throttle lock

I did a simular thing on my V Strom. Drilled and tapped the housing for a small 4-40 screw. It works but its broken off once already. Had to grind the ID some and the parts that hold the two halves together to get it to fit friction free. It would not hook on the cables as intended on the Strom. Mine is slightly different than the one in your pic but basically the same.

The Vista cruise one I have on the Uly does take up 3/8 of an inch of grip but I have fat pudgy hands and still have good access on the grip with winter gloves on.

I could not move mine over due to the mirrors are already to far inboard, I can barley see past my wide ass. Also where you have yours bothered me reaching the controls with my big ass pincher. HAhahaaaaa.
