I'm considering riding my '06 Uly down to Daytona. Gonna head from Maryland to FL on the I-95 corridor - boring as hell, but direct. Only thing I don't have in my "spares pack" is a belt....anyone able to check stock for me along the route and see if anyone has one available I could toss in the topcase? Murphy's Law and all.... Damn, I miss having access to that site.... | ||

Well...coulda used EITHER earlier today. Merging on the highway to run a couple last errands before loading the bike up...first gear...shift...neutral. Hm. Shift again. Neutral. Mirror: floppy snake thing in the lane. )&*^#*&^&(@*^#&^$&(&!(&!!!!!!! Ah well. 2 more months of warranty - gonna get the belt done and take care of the base gaskets that just started seeping. Might as well (shrug). Guess it'll be me and the S2 in Daytona. | ||

I've got a spare G0500.1AKE if your interested but I don't know the difference between that and the AKF belt. | ||

It's at the dealer now, under warranty, getting a new belt. Just for giggles, I'll probably order a new AKF belt just to have as a spare. As far as I know, the updates are simply strength/durability/material updates. | ||
