All I see is an "artist conception" No real photos.

I guess we can call it a "cyber bike".

I like it, tubeless spoked wheels, I wonder how much.

Another bike not available in the US (Canada though) the Honda Varedo

The only thing that relates to Buells is that looking at other bikes makes me appreciate the Uly that much more

Those of us fond of adventure bikes will need a replacement for the Uly one of these days. I personally celebrate all cool bikes.

All I see is an "artist conception" No real photos.

Yamaha releases official photos and specs tomorrow. The only secrets they have really let out is that it will have traction control and ABS available.

but I also bet we will never see it in the USA.

The Euros always get the best bikes, dammit! I am hopeful, though. Yamaha would be the only major manufacturer of a large-bore adventure bike not shooting for US market share. I am betting we'll get it here.

I stand corrected. Honda doesn't play here with there big bore either (forgot about that one). Of course they haven't introduced anything exciting to the US in over a decade.

Very nice bike, I would love to see one in person, probably never get it up here either! I test rode the Varadero, slick bike, but a tad heavy and sorta dull. You can pick up a new 08 for under 10 grand (cdn)

I think it's a great looking bike, but I wonder how it really would stack up to the competition here in the US? Depending on price, I might just be willing to buy a GS. Hell the GS rides nearly like my RT, so it's not much different in that respect. Actually that's one of the reasons I bought the Uly back in '07, I wanted something different than my RT. But at this point, there are very few adventure style bikes that really grab me. So, if my Uly ever goes south, my thoughts about replacing it with another Uly are pretty much gone, so who knows.

Wow... that Super Ténéré is FUGLY!! Not that I have a problem with ugly bikes...

But what I would have a problem with is the lack of space in the left side bag - that's a huge chunk of storage space taken up by a misplaced muffler...

At 575lbs this is no flyweight either. I believe this is porkier than an unloaded GSA. I was looking forward to the release of this bike, but I'm not sure I like these figures, especially with an output of only 110 ponies.

Looks to be chock full of technology. On one hand super cool, but on the other hand you may be looking at high maintenance costs. One thing that I noticed was their projector beams with 'solenoid-operated shade piece that moves up and down to switch between high and main beam lighting'. I read this as a possible high $ replacement should it get taken out by a rock, bad driving, whatever. Sounds nifty, but they've added a mechanical part to the headlights - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
