Amen brother. I took the uly out today for several hours. It was over 60 today in the Charlotte area. Yesterday was the first day in more than a month to be at or above normal. I have almost 500 miles on the bike now. I'm trying to get to 1k and get it serviced before riding season begins in Ernest.

me too! Took the new Uly out for about an hour. Temps mid 40's in southern Pa.

I just like this bike a lot! I don’t know what I was thinking trading my 2006 Uly on a 1125R. (the truth is I wanted a 1125R) It’s been a long two years without a Uly. I so happy with the 2009 I purchased! The Buell Ulysses has to be the best handling, most fun Buells of them all. Just the ability to suck up any road bump, laugh at questionable road conditions and have a blast in the twisties! Can’t wait for spring!
My dealer called me this week, my Outdoorsman bags, Thrust Blue bodywork and comfort kit is in!
I got a tall black seat from a dealer this week so I’m ready to change to Blue.
So is Orange faster or Thrust Blue! Don’t matter I got both!

Been spoiling myself down here in Yuma...have not seen another Buell yet but stopped at Pirate Shop and owner has a BLACK Uly in the back. They know nothing there about Buells other than that. Big curiosity. Days have been wonderful warm...warmest spot in USA. So glad you guys are getting out...starting to feel guilty. Riding in my shorts...:-)

6+ hours on the bike. 10:30-5:30. Stopped for lunch and gas twice. Met up with a fellow Uly (he has the camo kit)and drove some of the back roads out in salem county. Over 200 miles. Damn nice.

A couple of quick rides for me this weekend. Awesome weather!!! All the bikes were out in force. Who woulda thunk that in the middle of Feb. Just like spring at least for a few days, rain coming tomorrow.

As far as I could tell, I was the only rider out in suburban Maryland on Saturday (aside from a few pedal pushers). It was great to be back on two wheels after more than two weeks. The sand/salt and ice were really not an issue.

Even got in a little Civil War history lesson in Columbia, MD. This was the house of a wealthy MD merchant named Gaither. His son was the captain of a militia team of mounted infantrymen who drilled on these grounds. When the Civil War started, the team boogied over the river and joined the Confederate Army.

I was out, but didn't go outside the beltway. Saw several motorcycles out and about. My first real ride on my new (to me) X. The seat is freakin 'uuuuge.

Pesky headlight!

When I was heading down Georgetown Pike a cop pulled out behind me and I thought "If he pulls me over for missing a light..."

I'm pissed. I rode from NY to Boston, including stopping in Road Island (which lacks great roads, and isn't and island,) to get service done, and all the posers were out. I wonder how the new tires on my Blast will handle the snow tonight! : )
