Does anyone know of an isolation relay that will operate with 12 volt DC and not chatter with 3 volt DC. I installed a Kisan turn signal canceler relay. With this relay I wired so the turn signals are on all the time for more visibility. The lights always have 3 volts to them until the turn signal is activated then it pulsates 12 volt. When I installed the Admore light bar it has brake light and turn signals built into it. I tried to use a regular 12 relay but it chatters with 3 volts. So I need a 12 volt relay that does not try to pull in with 3 volts. Any ideas? |

Couldn't you do it with 2 relays. Feed the 3 volt signal through 1 relay-3v to pin 30 and out to lights on pin 87a. Second relay 12v to pin 30 and out to lights on pin 87. Ground both relay pin 85, and switch signal goes on pin 86 of both relays. With no switch signal, pin 87a relay 1 feeds 3v to lights. When switched pin 87a relay 1 is open and pin 87 on relay 2 feeds 12v to lights. |
