I have a brand new set of pillion footrest re-locators made by Ron Vennell to fit the XB12X and XB12XT. They move the pillion footrests about .75" forward and maybe 1.25" lower for all those of you who are fortunate enough to have a long-legged lovely riding pillion with you.

I bought them direct from Ron Vennell and they are powder coated aluminium with s/steel pins to fit them to the standard footrest hangers. I have never used them. I can email pictures if you are interested.

They cost me $150.00 inclusive of posting and import duty, so they can be yours for $100.00 including shipping

He goes by rwven here on badweb...

Here's a pic of the brackets on my bike:

The color is off on mine because they're prototypes that were gloss-clearcoated. Subsequent sets have the proper matte finish.

they are great, ladysleez says they help get her knees straightened out a bit, keeping her from sliding forward so much, also change the angle of her hips so the backrest feels more supportive, and gives a bit more room around the saddle bags.

here is a pic of mine.

Question on the extenders, both me and the missus have big feet. Anyone notice that the forward position causes an issue with space?

peter,

we don't have exceptionally large feet, but have not noticed any negative aspects to the relocators

I have size 13 feet. If I tuck my feet up so my toes are on the rider pegs, I can just *barely* tap a heel on the passenger peg. It's kinda neat, actually - supports both ends of my gunboats.

Riding 2-up, I'm never that agressive and typically ride arches-on-pegs, and we've never had an issue with clearance.

The super-benefit, as you can see in my pic above, is that it gets her heels out of the saddlebags.
