OK, I searched and could not find anything. I just purchased the outdoorsman side cases (and racks). Also purchased the top case from a fellow member, but now I need a top case rack. Is there an aftermarket rack that would work well with this setup? - or will I need something fab'd?

I think there is a rack made in the UK but I suppose it's for other cases, but i'm sure you could make a few minor adjustments with the case to make it work on the rack.

forgot the name of the english company but there is a lot of posts about them here.

Thanks - I may have them bookmarked on my home laptop. I will look for them. I figure I will have to make something work, won't be lucky enough to have something work out of the box.

This is the best (looking & functioning) rack out there for the Uly (IMHO)

P.S. - You can fabricate almost any mounting plate to fit on this rack. Then choose the topcase of your liking.

I rather like that one - (it looks like the Buell's tail can lay back when the case is not on the bike when using that rack). May have to pull the trigger on that one. Thanks for suggestion.

Be aware that the stock racks and this aftermarket one do not work together seamlessly. You need to bend and tweak and make some spacers to have them fit together. Ask me how I know.

I went with this rack because the stupid loop Buell put on the rear rack just didn't make sense to me. I posted pictures somewhere of what needs to be done and I can post/email them again if need be.

I don't have them anywhere online so I will post them this weekend. I won't be home but for 25 minutes total in the next 2 days. It is something you can put together at Home Depot or Lowes, or any decent hardware store. You need longer bolts and tubing type spacers.

I am in no hurry. I have about two inches of pact snow on the roads and looks like more coming, so I am not hopping on a cycle for a good couple to three months. Thanks!

Here are some shots of mine shortly after I mounted it. The side case mounts are Touratech. They work together seamlessly

Blatod, I'm looking for the same as you. I think Plamer products makes one. I don't know if the outdoorsman case will work with it but you could probably rig something up to make it work. I'm thinking about the same thing for a givi topbox I have. I have the outdoorsman side rack but no top rack also. Here is a link http://palmerproducts.auto.officelive.com/buellxb1 2x.aspx

They all both look good. I will have to wait until I get the side bags and see how they mount and see which one will work the best with it. Hopefully the storm we are suppose to get will not be too bad, and will not delay the Monday delivery of the side bags.

Iliad, I've ordered a couple of small things from them with no problem. Just used a credit card. Shipping of course takes a bit longer. It's easy to convert prices using conversion tables on the web.

I have purchased several parts from Palmer. Fast and responsive, would not hesitate to use him again next time he has something tht I cannot live without.

Here are the pictures I had after the install you can see the various spacers. Some black some silver. I can take some more pictures tomorrow and throw them up there.

The only thing on the racks that I modified was where the side racks connect to the passenger peg mount. I had to drill a new hole since the spacers move the mount down and back. Not a big deal.

I just snagged this stuff from work and went to my local hardware store for the bolts. I bought a couple in each size and then threw the ones I didn't use into my spares pile.
