Looks bloody cold is all I can say guys, and as all say a Damn waste of a good company, rumour in one of the Aussie local bike mags, tells us that Can Am were keen to buy the rotax side of the bussiness,ie the 1125's and also made an offer for the job lot,but the "Good O'l Boys"at HD corp headquartes said no way..................typical,and they still are saying here in Aus they want to attract a younger breed of rider to the HD family.....what the?,thought they had that, from memory it was called a Buell.

still cranky here Mr Willie G,still cranky

Hey, no offense Aussiexbox, but if you don't think that this:

48

will attract the younger, sportbike buyer, you're crazy!

I mean, just look at it - high profile tires, under handlebar mirrors to reduce wind drag, suspension so reduced as to hardly be there, 60 rip-snorting horsepower, and fuel range close to 85 miles on a tank!! It's what all the kids are asking for these days!! A bike like this is so revolutionary that it will send all the other manufacturers back to the drawing board.

Don't worry about Harley - they'll be just fine...

Aussie, you are right, it was cold! If I remember correctly, it was about 5 degrees Farenheit and 8 below zero wind chill.

>>>it was about 5 degrees Farenheit and 8 below zero wind chill.

It's what they refer to as "springtime in Wisconsin".

My wife found out how to improve the weather ... the week before she headed there, 3 weeks ago, she bought tons of silk longjohns, undies, down jackets and boots. The entire week she was there it was pretty darn nice.

Trick seems to be to appease the thermal Gods.
