Did anyone besides myself attend the first day of the Buell Factory Liquidation Sale? What did you think of prices etc.?

The place was packed for at least the first few hours. One of my brothers and I went and we left with quite a few nice smaller items. Most anything that said "Buell" on it sold immediately. There were also a lot of 1125CR's in the shipping area that looked like they were ready to go except they were all missing the headlight/fairing assembly. Not sure what the plan is for those bikes.

It was really sad when you stop and think about what was really happening but I'm glad I went anyway.

Those 1125's were meant for Brazil but now are being brought back to U.S. spec according to this latest article:

I was on I29 between Grand Forks and Fargo North Dakota this morning and saw what appeared to be a Buell factory 5th wheel trailer being towed north. Looked like one of them from the photos shown of the factory sale list. Anyone here end up buying it? It was probably heading north into to Canada or ? Very unusual to see such an item like that in my nake of the woods with the large Buell logos on it.

I was there today and was surprised @ how much was gone. Prices were pretty high too!
There were still a dozen presto lifts there but they were marked @ 770 bucks, but the grease board said 500 buy the door. They had no acc. to go with them for holding the bikes or getting them up the 8 inches from floor to the table, but they were rugged lifts and would last a lifetime in a garage. Lots of keyboards and computers and shelving too. Some hand tools and well used air tools. Cash and carry no personal checks, l8r bb
