Santa finally delivered my Christmas present to myself (the best kind!)

2009 XB12X

And now that D.C. area weather is supposed to plunge below freezing tonight with snow potential for the weekend, I get to ride home from work and then put it away until ??? (hopefully not too long)

Thanks all.

Dentguy: I tried local first, but as others reported, once HD offered the 3K incentive, the prices went back up beyond my wallet, so I actually got it from Wisconsin via eBay. It was a demo that some dealership sent back to Buell HQ once HD killed the company, and then this dealership got it from Buell.

Interesting thing was the shipping company (HaulBikes.com) driver said after the closing he was moving tons of them back to Troy for the dealerships that never wanted to sell them in the first place (I guess they took up too much floorspace better used to sell chaps with fringe)

Yo man, congrats, but sorry about the color.

Where in Silver Spring are you? I'm close to Wheaton, so when the weather gets better, drop a line. Lots of good roads in our area - hope you have some new ones. Check out the DC-MD-VA page on the Storm Fronts link. Area Buellers sometimes plan meetups on that page.

It's so when I fall over there's a better chance of drivers seeing me and avoiding the road hazard.

I'm over by the Takoma Park / D.C. line. I've seen a couple of posters here mention the area so Ulys must be popular in the Mid Atlantic.

Thanks, I'll check out the DC-MD-VA page.

Nice to see more MD riders, Glen Burnie area here. I can't wait for the warmer weather to get here.
